Juan Pablo Angel scored in the 83rd minute for Chivas USA Saturday, salvaging a 1-1 draw with Colorado. On the equalizer, Rapids goalkeeper Matt Pickens stopped an initial shot by second-half substitute Tristan Bowen, but the ball deflected off his chest right to Angel for an easy goal. The draw enabled Chivas (7-9-6) to remain in seventh place in the Western Conference, but the Goats have four games in hand over fifth-place Vancouver, which holds the West's final playoff spot. Brian Mullan scored for Colorado (8-15-2).
