Mike Ribeiro scored twice and added an assist in the Pacific Division-leading Dallas Stars' 5-2 road win over Vancouver. Ribeiro scored late in the first period to break a 1-1 tie and then tallied the fourth Dallas goal at 11:11 of the third period, sending the Stars to their sixth win in seven games. Loui Eriksson and Stephane Robidas both had a goal and an assist. Richard Bachman made 29 saves in goal. Chris Higgins and Alexander Edler scored for the Canucks, who lost their third in a row. Roberto Luongo allowed four goals on 28 shots. Higgins opened the scoring at 6:45 of the second period, but the Canucks did not score again until 7:55 of the third period after Dallas had built a 3-1 lead.
