Paulinho scored twice as Corinthians stormed to a 5-1 win over Coritiba in the Campeonato Brasileiro. The hosts raced into a 3-0 lead thanks Chicao's sixth-minute penalty and goals from Fabio Santos (19) and Paulinho (21), before Deivid pulled one back just after the half-hour. It did not herald a comeback though as Paolo Guerrero netted in the 64th minute and Paulinho grabbed his second four minutes later, before Coritiba's miserable day was rounded off with a red card for Fabio Pereira ten minutes from time. Botafogo eased to a 3-0 win over Portuguesa with goals from Bruno Mendes (12), Fellype Gabriel (67) and Vitor Junior 90. The second and third goals came against ten men as Marcelo Cordeiro saw red in the 65th minute. Rock-bottom Atletico Goianiense scored twice in the last six minutes to beat Santos 2-1 for their sixth victory of the season. Bruno Rodrigo put the visitors ahead on the stroke of half-time, but goals from Diogo Campos (85) and Marcio (89) effected a late turnaround. From : Fifa
