Italy coach Cesare Prandelli has revealed that Roma captain Francesco Totti could return to the national team at UEFA EURO 2012. Totti retired from international duty shortly after helping Italy win the 2006 FIFA World Cup™. But with strikers Antonio Cassano and Giuseppe Rossi doubtful for this summer's tournament through illness and injury respectively, Prandelli could recall the 35-year-old. "I will evaluate the physical condition of the players at the end of the season," Prandelli told RAI TV. "We began the campaign with a project and if there are players with great character in good shape then they will be taken into consideration. Does that include Totti? Why not, if he's in good shape." Totti has scored four goals in 14 league appearances for Roma this season. He made history on Saturday when scoring twice in Roma's 5-1 triumph over Cesena to reach 211 Serie A goals for I Giallorossi, surpassing former AC Milan striker Gunnar Nordahl's record tally of goals for a single club.
