Secretary General of Qatar Olympic Committee HE Sheikh Saud bin Abdurrahman Al Thani met today Lebanese Minister of Youth and Sports Faisal Karami and his accompanying delegation who are currently visiting Qatar. At the outset of the meeting the QOC Secretary-General welcomed the Lebanese minister and his accompanying delegation wishing them a pleasant stay in Qatar. He also praised the close sport relationship between Doha and Beirut and the existing cooperation between them. For his part, Karami hailed the development achieved in Qatar in the field of sport and the prominent role of the State of Qatar on the global sporting level, wishing the bilateral relations between the two countries further development and growth. During the meeting they held cordial talks and reviewed aspects cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the sport sector and ways of enhancing them in the next phase. Sheikh Saud bin Abdurrahman Al Thani also met with a delegation representing the Egyptian Sports Press Association led by visiting Radhwan Al-Zayati who is currently visiting Qatar. Sheikh Saud praised the depth of the Qatari-Egyptian relations and media cooperation between them. For his part, Al-Zayati praised prestigious media position of Qatar and its prominent support for media men at the Arab sports level. Sheikh Saud and Al-Zayati reviewed aspects of cooperation in the information sector and ways of enhancing them in future.
