Queens Park Rangers and Real Madrid have agreed a deal that could see ex-Chelsea defender Ricardo Carvalho move to Loftus Road on a season-long loan, this was published by BBC. The 34-year-old former Portugal defender has yet to agree personal terms but talks will take place over the next 48 hours. On Tuesday, QPR and Spurs agreed a fee of £7.5m for defender Michael Dawson. Manager Mark Hughes has moved to strengthen his defence after a 5-0 home defeat by Swansea on Saturday. Neither deal has been confirmed but privately QPR hope both players will be signed before Saturday's trip to Norwich.
