Racing Club and Godoy Cruz joined Colon Santa Fe at the top of Argentina's Apertura with 2-0 home victories. Racing Club beat Independiente with a goal in each half from Jose Sand, while a bad day for the visitors was compounded by the 45th-minute dismissal of Morel Rodriguez. First half goals from Mauro Obolo and Emanuel Insua gave Godoy Cruz victory over Atletico Rafaela. River Plate also picked up their second win in three games with a 3-2 victory at Tigre. The visitors led 2-1 at half-time with goals from Daniel Villalba and Carlos Sanchez, either side of Lucas Orban's breakthrough. Manuel Lanzini made it 3-1 soon after the restart - but a goal on the hour from substitute Diego Ftacla made for an exciting conclusion to the contest. In Sunday's other game, Lanus picked up their first points of the season with a 2-0 victory which ended Velez Sarsfield's unbeaten start. The goals came in the second half from substitute Mauricio Pereyra and Victor Ayala. From : Fifa
