Inter Milan midfielder Thiago Motta will remain at the San Siro until the end of the season, according to club coach Claudio Ranieri. Motta has been strongly linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain this month but Ranieri is reluctant to see the Italy international leave Inter. "I requested the club for Motta to stay and he will stay," Ranieri said on the club's official website, www.inter.it. "The club has assured me that he will remain at least until June. This is a good thing because another midfielder of his quality we don't have." The Brazil-born Motta is under contract with the Nerazzurri outfit until June 2013. He joined Inter in 2009 from Genoa and has scored three goals in ten league appearances for them this season.
