The Brazilian club's executive director has revealed that the Spanish giants have tabled an initial bid for the young defender along with Russian side CSKA Moscow.Gremio director Paulo Pelaipe has revealed that Real Madrid and CSKA Moscow have made an official offer for promising defender Mario Fernandes, but added that the Brazilian side have turned down both clubs' first bid.A report earlier this week suggested that Madrid were interested in luring the 21-year-old to the Santiago Bernabeu, and Gremio have now confirmed los Blancos' intentions to sign the young centre-back."Real Madrid and CSKA Moscow have made offers for Mario Fernandes in the past couple of days. However, club president Paulo Odone has rejected the bids as they didn't match our valuation of the player," Pelaipe said to Radio Gaucha."Gremio are of the opinion that the player should stay put for at least another season in order to further develop. Gremio would only consider selling him now if an offer in the region of €20 million comes in."The defender has a contract with Gremio until 2014.
