United have dominated the line-ups of fantasy teams comprised of players who have starred in the first 20 years of the Barclays Premier League. A public vote and a panel of experts selected two teams, and the Reds were represented by six players in the former, and seven in the latter line-up. Both sides included Peter Schmeichel, Gary Neville, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Cristiano Ronaldo, while the fans plumped for Nemanja Vidic and the experts chose Rio Ferdinand, and Roy Keane edged Steven Gerrard to give the Reds a seventh berth in the panel's team. Four Reds enjoyed landslide victories in nailing down their specific positions in the supporters' team; Giggs (61%), Neville (58%), Schmeichel (56%) and Ronaldo (55%) were shoo-ins for selection. Fans' XI: Peter Schmeichel; Gary Neville, Tony Adams, Nemanja Vidic, Ashley Cole; Cristiano Ronaldo, Paul Scholes, Steven Gerrard, Ryan Giggs; Thierry Henry, Alan Shearer. Experts' XI: Peter Schmeichel; Gary Neville, Tony Adams, Rio Ferdinand, Ashley Cole; Cristiano Ronaldo, Paul Scholes, Roy Keane, Ryan Giggs; Thierry Henry, Alan Shearer. Over 300,000 fans voted for a series of awards to mark the Premier League's 20 years, including best goal (won by Wayne Rooney's 2011 overhead kick against Manchester City) and best game (United's 4-3 win over City in 2009). A special awards dinner in London on Tuesday evening will also crown the finest manager and player of the last 20 top flight seasons.
