Former Brazil star Ronaldo paid a visit to Paris Saint-Germain's Camp des Loges training base today on his way back from last night's FIFA Ballon d'Or Gala, where he met up with his former team-mates Leonardo and Claude Makelele. "I'm happy to be here and to see Makelele," said Ronaldo of his former Real Madrid team-mate. "It's a courtesy call." Leonardo, who played alongside Ronaldo for Brazil, is the sporting director at PSG and Claude Makelele was recently appointed as an assistant to new first-team coach Carlo Ancelotti. Ronaldo, a two-time FIFA World Cup-winner and twice a recipient of the Ballon d'Or, also posed for a picture with a PSG shirt bearing his name. He had presented Barcelona's Lionel Messi with the 2011 FIFA Ballon d'Or at a ceremony in Zurich yesterday.
