Two-time Russian champions Rubin Kazan, last season's cup winners, won their second national Super Cup thanks to a 2-0 defeat of reigning champions Zenit St Petersburg at Samara on Saturday. Rubin, winners of the competition in 2010, looked more confident from the opening whistle and defender Salvatore Bocchetti gave them the lead in the 20th minute with a header from Roman Eremenko's corner.
