Dynamo Moscow coach Sergei Silkin has dropped joint top scorer Igor Semshov and captain Andriy Voronin from the squad for a crucial Russian Premier League tie with capital city rivals Lokomotiv amid reported feuds with both players. Anything but a win for Dynamo dramatically reduces their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League. On Wednesday, midfielder Semshov claimed the team were “ashamed” that coach Sergei Silkin opted to “park the bus” in Wednesday’s 1-1 draw with Spartak, before issuing an extensive apology on Friday. Voronin, a former Liverpool striker, both played for the Dynamo reserves team Saturday, the second reserve game in a row for Voronin, who has started just one of Dynamo’s last seven games and last scored in October.
