FC Seoul cut the gap to K-League leaders Jeonbuk Motors to two points after claiming a 2-0 away win over rock-bottom Daejeon Citizen. Mauricio Molina and Dejan Damjanovic struck the goals in either half as Seoul took full advantage of Jeonbuk's goalless draw at Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma. Third-placed Ulsan Hyundai were not as successful though, going down 1-0 to a 69th-minute Lim Sang-Hyub goal at Busan I'Park to slip nine points off the lead. Fifth-placed Jeju United also suffered defeat after losing 3-1 at Gyeongnam. All four goals came in the second half, with Luke DeVere and Yun Il-Lok putting Gyeongnam in charge before Jeju netted a late consolation through Junior Santos. In the day's other matches, Gangwon beat Pohang Steelers 2-1 with goals from Kim Eun-Jung and Park Jung-Hoon cancelling out an effort by Noh Byung-Joon, while Chunnam Dragons drew 0-0 with Sangju Sangmu Phoenix.
