FC Sion continued their impressive start to the new Swiss Super League season with a 1-0 home win over ten-man Young Boys. Didier Crettenand struck the only goal of the match in the 24th minute as unbeaten Sion picked up their fifth win in six matches, leaving them four points clear of FC Basel at the summit. Young Boys, who had Raphael Nuzzolo sent off with 11 minutes left, remain on eight points. Fourth-placed Grasshoppers picked up their third victory of the campaign with a 2-0 triumph at winless Lucerne, Steven Zuber opening the scoring in the fourth minute and Amir Abrashi adding a second in the 79th minute. In today's other game, bottom club Servette took a 15th-minute lead through Silva Eudis at home to FC Zurich as they sought a maiden victory, but ended up having to settle for a point after conceding an equaliser on the stroke of half-time to Davide Chiumiento.
