
Swiss Timea Bacsinszky, 15th in the WTA rankings, won Morocco Grand Prix de SAR La Princesse Lalla Meryem on Saturday, beating New Zealand top tennis player Marina Erakovic 6-2, 6-1 in the final.
Qualifier Erakovic, ranking 186th, struggled to contend against Bacsinszky who wrapped up her victory in just 67 minutes.
The 26-year-old Bacsinszky lost only just one set in the five matches on her way to secure her first WTA title on clay and her fourth career title.
