Three soccer trophies to be showcased at Dubai meet

Three prestigious football cups will be shown during the sixth Dubai International Sports Conference.; The FIFA World Cup won by Spain National Team in South Africa 2010, the European Champions League Cup won by Barcelona Club last May and Europa League cup won by Porto ClubThe conference is arranged under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Sports Council.The conference will be held at Intercontinental Hotel under title “Football Companies Current & Future Trends” on Dec.28, 29.Dr. Aaisha Bu Sumait, the conference’s director said: “We are keen to bring and show those cups during the conference’s programme’s to reflect the hard work and diligences exerted by winning clubs and national teams to join competitions and attain such honorable titles.”She added: “Respective bodies of the Conference have successfully shown the World Cup during the 3rd edition of the event in 2008. Today we will show the world cup for the second time along with other two prestigious European cups; these are: European Champions League / European League Cup”.Each of the three cups to be shown in a separate platform during the inaugurating session of the 6th edition of the conference. The cups will then be shown in special section of the conference’s exhibition. It is the first time for the aforementioned three cups to be shown simultaneously in one place.Beside cups’ show, presidents of winning teams will also attend the 6th edition of the conference.
