Atletico Mineiro remain one point clear of Fluminense at the top of the Brazilian Campeonato after both sides were held to home draws. Atletico led twice at home to Ponte Preta through goals from Bairros Danilinho and Milhomen Guilherme, but the visitors earned a point thanks to a double from Neuciano Cicinho before Pereira Uendel was sent off in the last minute. Fluminense needed an 83rd-minute equaliser from Guedes Fred to draw 1-1 with Corinthians, who had taken the lead through Marcio Emerson in the 37th minute. Elsewhere, Coritiba beat Internacional 1-0 thanks to a 56th-minute strike from Francisco Rafinha, while Bahia won 3-1 away to Santos. Santos took the lead on 15 minutes through De Souza Andre, but Bahia scored three times in 13 second-half minutes courtesy of Rodrigo Souza, Darcy Neto and Santana Gabriel. Cruzeiro also won on the road, beating Atletico Goianiense 2-0 thanks to Humberlito Borges and a penalty from Wellington Paulista. Gremio won 2-0 at home to Vasco da Gama as Marcelo Moreno and Kleber scored either side of half-time, while Nautico Recife came from 2-0 down to beat Figueirense 3-2. Correa Caio and Dos Santos Aloisio put the visitors in command, but Recife scored three times in 17 second-half minutes through Santos Elicarlos, twice, and Elierce Souza.
