Istanbul will host CEV Women's Champions League final-four games on Saturday. Co-hosts Galatasaray Daikin and Vakifbank, Rabita Baku of Azerbaijan and Unendo Yamaney of Italy will vie for the championship after the final four in Istanbul on Saturday which will last for two days. In the final-four games which start at 4 p.m. Turkish local time, Rabita Baku will take on Unendo Yamaney while Galatasaray will face Vakifbank at 5 p.m. Turkish local time on Saturday. The winners of day-one games will play the final at 5 p.m. on Sunday while the defeated teams of day-one games will play the third-place game. Galatasaray Daikin have qualified to the CEV Women's Champions League final four for the first time in their history. Galatasaray became leaders in Group C matches winning 5 matches out of six and became eligible to play in the final-four. Vakifbank, who have showed a successful performance in Turkey and Europe and have not lost any matches this season, are one of the favorites of the championship. Vakifbank have taken their place in the final-four after winning all their Group A matches where they played Cannes of France, Uralochka of Russia, Volero of Switzerland and beating Atom Trefl of Poland and Eczacibasi of Turkey in the playoff games. Turkish teams won the CEV Women's Champions League Cup for the last two years. Vakifbank won the final-four games held in Istanbul in 2011 while Fenerbahce became champions in the final-four games held in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan, in 2012. From AFP
