Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri has been banned from both legs of his side's UEFA Champions League tie with Chelsea after UEFA today rejected his appeal against the suspension. The governing body confirmed the Italian would be banned for the match on 21 February in Naples and 14 March at Stamford Bridge. They rejected his appeal against his two-match suspension for improper conduct at the Champions League Group A game against Villarreal in December and added a third game, suspended for a probationary period of two years. Mazzarri clashed with Villarreal striker Nilmar during a game in Spain on 7 December. A statement from UEFA read: "SSC Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri will be banned from carrying out his duties in both legs of the UEFA Champions League tie against Chelsea FC after a decision by UEFA's Appeals Body."
