Alex Morgan and Abby Wambach each scored two goals Monday in leading the U.S. women's national soccer team to a 4-1 win over Japan in a match in Sweden. The game was the second for the United States in the Volvo Winners Cup. The Americans defeated Sweden 3-1 on Saturday. The United States tops the FIFA women's soccer rankings while Japan is No. 3 and Sweden is ranked fourth. Morgan and Wambach staked the United States to a 2-0 lead in the game's first 10 minutes Monday. Yuki Nagasato got Japan on the board in the 28th minute by heading home a crossing pass from Aya Miyama. Morgan added her second gold in the 61st minute and Wambach finished the scoring by converting a pass from Heather O'Reilly in stoppage time. The United States has one more game -- June 30 in Sandy, Utah, against No. 7-ranked Canada -- before the 2012 Olympic tournament begins in England.
