
Spanish 24th seed Fernando Verdasco reached the French Open fourth round for the first time since 2010 with a 6-3, 6-2, 6-3 win over France's 12th seed Richard Gasquet on Sunday.
The 30-year-old Verdasco goes on to face either seventh seeded Wimbledon champion Andy Murray or Philipp Kohlschreiber of Germany for a place in the quarter-finals.
Murray and Kohlschreiber were locked at 7-7 in the final set of their third round clash when it was suspended on Saturday night.
