After the drama witnessed by the fifth round of (WEC) during the Sao Paulo race for 6 hours in Brazil, and the historical winning of Toyota, (WEC )is preparing to go to the Middle East to the sixth round of the tournament, particularly for Bahrain Grand Prix to endure for 6 hours. Since 2004 Bahrain welcomed Formula One car-racing to be the first country in the Middle East to host Grand Prix races, and on 29 September 2012 history will repeat itself when Bahrain will be the first country to host a round of WEC of Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). It is expected that this round will see exciting and competition between Audi and Toyota teams to win the title of Bahrain Grand Prix, which will start from 4 afternoon until 10 in the evening. All teams participating will come from around the world, along with the Emirati team Middle East Gulf Racing. President of ACO Pierre Fillon said, "After the wonderful race in Brazil we are now looking forward to Bahrain Grand Prix and create the spirit of Le Mans in the Middle East for the first time.” He also said, “ There will be 28 cars to be transported to Bahrain, that were participating in Brazil, to participate in the sixth round. The Bahraini fans who love motor sport will watch familiar names of drivers for their history in World Formula one, along with some new names in the world of sports car racing.” President of ACO Pierre Fillon also said, “Bahrain International Circuit and its facilities are among the best circuits in the world and we are very happy to organize a tour of FIA (WEC) for the first time in the Middle East.
