Tiger Woods claimed his third win of the season Sunday, carding a 2-under-par 69 to register a two-stroke triumph at the AT&T National. Woods finally shook off a tough challenge from Bo Van Pelt to notch his 74th career PGA Tour victory, moving him into second place on the all-time list, one ahead of Jack Nicklaus. The former world No. 1's next goal is Sam Snead's all-time mark of 82 wins. Woods ended at 8-under-par 276 at Congressional Country Club. Van Pelt hung with him for 15 holes until bogeying the final three, finishing two back at minus-6 with his even-par 71. Grabbing sole possession of third place at minus-5 was Adam Scott, who matched the low round of the day with a 4-under 67. Sharing fourth one shot further back were Robert Garrigus (70), Jhonattan Vegas (71), Billy Hurley III (72) and Seung- Yul Noh (73).
