141 militants killed north Sinai in May

Some 141 Takfiris and armed elements were killed during army campaigns in North Sinai in May, the military spokesman said in a statement Tuesday.
ِAbout 322 suspects were arrested in addition to 71 wanted elements, including Brotherhood leading figure Sabri el Ghoul, Brg. Mohamed Samir said.
During the army campaigns in May, 113 plateless cars and 234 motorbikes were seized, he said, adding that 60 havens of armed elements were destroyed.
About 93 explosive charges were detonated, 31 machine guns seized in addition to a large amount of ammunition and narcotics, he added.
