Fifteen terrorists were killed and four others were arrested in North Sinai province over the past two days, said Military Spokesman Mohamed Samir.
On Thursday, Seven terrorists were killed and four others were nabbed in a crackdown on terrorist hotbeds Arish city, he added.
The forces averted a car bomb attack on a checkpoint in Arish, killing the truck driver and a passenger.
Six terrorists were killed in a raid on a house in Sheikh Zuwaid city.
