Security forces in South Arish, Sheikh Zuweid and Rafah have launched a campaign resulted in killing two takfiris and arresting 30 suspects, according to security sources.
Also, a number of terrorist hotbeds have been destroyed and an explosive device has been detonated during the security campaign.
The military operation covers the three cities of South Arish, Sheikh Zuweid and Rafah.
The operation aims to purge an insurgency that has been active mainly in North Sinai since the ouster of president Mohamed Morsi in July 2013.
