A magnitude-3.5 earthquake shook the Bishop, Calif., area early Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. The quake was recorded at 1:05 a.m. at a depth of 8.1 miles, the Los Angeles Times reported. The epicenter was 4 miles from West Bishop, 4 miles from Wilkerson and 188 miles from Sacramento, the USGS said.
