A whale shark was seen off Hurghada shores, the Red Sea, said the head of the Maritime Rescue and Environmental Protection Association.
"The appearance the whale shark, the biggest fish in the sea, is a unique phenomenon in Hurghada," Hassan el-Tayeb added.
"Despite its size, the whale shark is friendly and does not pose significant danger to humans," he pointed out.
