
Dubai Municipality (DM) has donated AED 3 million for the U.A.E. Water Aid initiative (U.A.E. Suqia).
During his meeting at DM's main Headquarters with Mohammed Al Zarooni, Director of the Emirates Red Crescent's Dubai branch, Engineer Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director-General of Dubai Municipality said that the donation comes within the Initiative, launched by Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and as per directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai for Government departments in Dubai to participate and interact with the initiative.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid's initiative aims at providing fresh drinking water to 5 million people around the world.
Lootah commended the generous gesture of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, which is deemed one of his distinguished humanitarian initiatives, especially in the Holy Month of Ramadan.
