Seven earthquakes have been registered in Yakutia’s Abyi district, Russia’s Siberia, in the early hours of Friday. The strongest quake measuring 6.8 points on the Richter scale was registered 13 minutes after midnight. Soon after this earth tremors decreased and their magnitude ranged between 4.9 and 5.1. Epicenters of all quakes were located 54 kilometers of the village of Syagannakh. The focus of the quake was registered at the depth of 10 kilometers. No damages and victims were reported, the Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences said, Itar tass reported. Earth tremors were felt in the settlement of Belaya Gora, the administrative center of the district, 150 kilometers from the epicenter.
