
Egypt's Agriculture Minister Salah Hilal met on the sidelines of the EEDC in Sharm El Sheikh with the president of the European Investment Bank.
The meeting discussed the strategy of the Egyptian agriculture ministry and investment opportunities available in this field.
A project to reclaim on million feddans was reviewed during the meeting.
The EIB chief stressed preparedness to support Egypt in the coming period through soft loans and other ways.
The agriculture minister met also with his Vietnamese counterpart who hailed political relations with Cairo.
He said his country will invest in the agricultural field.
Hilal also convened with the economy minister and ambassador of Poland which has six firms working in Egypt.
These companies seek more investments in domains including milk production, said the Polish team.
