Irrigation Ministers from Egypt, Ethiopia and Sudan will kick off the most important round of talks on the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam.
During the upcoming round of talks, the ministers would name a consultancy firm to study possible threats caused by the dam.
"The expected meeting would be the first to be held by ministers and experts to follow up the three-states' agreement signed on March 23," Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Hossam Moghazi said.
The meeting comes under a new umbrella of optimism sparked when leaders of the three Nile basin countries made a Document of the Declaration of Principles.
A delegation of experts of the three-way national committee on the Ethiopian dam wrapped up meetings on Monday in preparation for the coming round.
The meetings, which led by Moghazi, aimed at completing the studies on the dam.
