Water resources ministers of Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia will meet in Addis Ababa on Wednesday to preside over a technical committee, made up of 12 experts to choose the international consultancy office that will complete technical studies on the Ethiopian renaissance dam.
In a statement, the Irrigation Ministry said an invitation was sent to Irrigation Minister Hossam Moghazi from his Ethiopian counterpart Alemayehu Tegenu to that effect.
Moghazi said the three Nile Basin countries are more likely to choose a French or Dutch office to prepare two studies over the dam within a period of not more than 12 months.
