Minister of Environment Khaled Fahmy met here Wednesday with European Union Ambassador in Cairo James Moran and his accompanying delegation for talks on cooperation in the various environmental fields.
The ministry works on updating environmental effects studies to include new development and energy projects, Fahmy said.
The two sides reviewed preparations for the Paris summit on climate change and arrangements for a joint committee meeting of the environment, transport and energy slated for April 21 in Cairo.
