Egypt's FM meets head of UNEP in Kenya

Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met with Achim Steiner, the executive director of the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), in Kenya on Tuesday.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Badr Abdel Aati said Steiner hailed cooperation between Egypt and the UNEP.
He said his body is seeking to boost cooperation with Egypt.
He paid tribute Egypt's role inside the Arab League and the African Union in protecting environment.
