Ethiopia PM optimistic about boosting ties with Egypt

Ethiopia's Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn voiced his optimism about the future of the Egyptian-Ethiopian relations and the convergence of views on issues of common interest, Egypt's Irrigation Minister Hosam Moghazy told MENA on Tuesday.
When a president visits Ethiopia and heavy rain falls outside the country's rain season, this is considered a good omen, Moghazy quoted Desalegn as saying.
"We very much appreciate his (President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's) visit to Ethiopia," the prime minister said.
