Floods destroy thousands of houses in Sudan

Torrential rain lashed half of the Sudanese governorates last Tuesday, destroying more than three thousand houses.
Sudanese News Agency (Suna) said that floods devastated twenty-two regions located in eight governorates.
Quoting the Ministry of Health, the agency said that 184 people sustained injuries as torrential rain and floods destroyed 6100 houses, half of which are located in Nile and North Cordovan governorates.
