
Supreme Council for Environment (SCE) Chief Executive Officer Dr. Mohammed Mubarak bin Dainah received GCC Mandated Minister in Charge of Human and Environment Affairs Dr. Adel Mohammed Al-Bastaki and discussed the implementation of joint projects.
Dr. Al-Bastaki conveyed greetings from GCC Secretary-General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani and Assistant Secretary-General for human and environment affairs Dr. Abdulla bin Uqla Al-Hashim.
The two sides discussed a draft agreement proposed by the Kingdom of Bahrain in a bid to elaborate a unified GCC stance regarding all environmental issues. They also spotlighted ways of activating environment-related programmes and joint projects with the World Bank, Morocco, Jordan and Turkey.
