
The 7th Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA) in Berlin tackled the growing demand for food and opportunities and challenges facing the agriculture sector and food security, Egypt's ambassador to Germany Mohamad Hegazy has said.
Agriculture Minister Adel el Beltagi took part in the GFFA that was held January 15-17.
In a statement, the ambassador said the minister inspected other pavilions to discuss the latest developments and means to beef up bilateral cooperation.
The minister also had one-on-one meetings with several ministers including his German counterpart Christian Schmidt.
The two sides agreed to sign a memo of understanding on beefing up cooperation between the two sides and benefiting from the becoming political milieu of the ties between the two countries.
