
Housing Minister Mostafa Madbouli held a meeting on Saturday with officials of the Holding Company for Water and Waste Water to follow up urgent solutions to the problems of potable water in the various provinces.
The meeting was also attended by heads of the water and waste water companies across Egypt.
During the meeting, the minister stressed that the prime minister was keen on following up the water problems, and asked for a daily report about the current situation, according to a statement by the ministry.
The minister called for drawing up an action plan about needs and hindrances facing the water sector in Egypt to be presented to the premier.
