Kuwait's Environment Public Authority (EPA) has launched a probe into the causes of dolphin deaths along Kuwaiti coasts in the past days. EPA's Deputy Director General for Technical Affairs and Acting Deputy Director-General for Environment Sector Mohammad Al-Enazi told (KUNA) that the dead dolphins were moved to secure places and a probe has been started to identify the causes of their death. He added that the EPA, in coordination with other relevant bodies, are closely following up the issue. The EPA teams are doing their best in this regard in collaboration with the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAF), the Interior Ministry's Coast Guard Department and Kuwait Municipality, Al-Enazi said. He urged the public not to heed unspecialized statements in this regard, adding that the EPA will make official statements about any developments later.
