The Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources has carried out a total nine decorative development and irrigation projects in Kuwait.
The decorative projects involve motorways, inner roads, roundabouts, public parks and community sports areas while the urban agriculture projects are focused on farmlands, PAAAFR official, Ghanim Al-Sanad said.
Al-Sanad, who heads the implementation and maintenance department, said that his office oversees the fulfillment of these projects by contracted parties.
Among these projects, some 555 palm trees were planted in the newly-developed area of Al-Qairawan, located west of Kuwait City.
