Philippine president orders emergency preparations for typhoon

Philippine President Benigno Aquino has ordered government officials to make emergency preparations before typhoon Hagupit hits at the weekend, dpa reported.
'Everything has to be accomplished before the typhoon arrives,' Aquino told a meeting of the national disaster risk management council. 'I will not be very patient with excuses after this. 'Failure on the priorities is kind of unforgivable.'
