
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Monday underlined the necessity of implementing the technical measures mentioned in the declaration of principles regarding the Ethiopian renaissance dam that was signed in Khartoum in March.
At a meeting here with Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meetings, president Sisi congratulated him over winning parliamentary elections, said presidential spokesman Ambassador Alaa Youssef.
The Ethiopian premier asserted his country's commitment to the declaration and that the dam will be a symbol of cooperation among Egypt, Ethiopia and Sudan
