
Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, son of His Royal Highness The Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, presented the Supreme Council for the Environment with a commemorative shield in recognition of its efforts to enhance environment-awareness and encourage society to embrace environment-friendly lifestyles, behavioural patterns and activities. The honouring gesture was part of festivities marking the closing ceremony of the 42nd annual Scout Camp, which was organized by the Education Ministry under the theme “Scouting .. A Lifestyle”. The move also celebrates the constant cooperation and fruitful partnership between the Supreme Council for the Environment and the Scouts Movement. Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa presented the commemorative shield to SCE environmental awareness and culture chief Miss Lulwa Al-Kaabi after touring the exhibition which was held on the sidelines. Over 2,000 scouts attended the annual camp at Ras Al-jazair.
