
xpect heavier traffic than usual this weekend towards Abu Dhabi’s islands as Al Maqta Bridge will be under maintenance.
On Thursday, the Traffic and Patrols Directorate in Abu Dhabi Police announced that two lanes on Al Maqta Bridge will be partially closed to carry out road works
The maintenance works, which will be carried out in coordination with Abu Dhabi City Municipality, starts from April 6 to 9, 2017.
The affected roads, according to police, will only affect motorists Abu Dhabi bound, from 11pm on Thursday to 5am on Sunday.
Abu Dhabi Police calls on motorists to use the traffic diversions provided to bypass the working area, to exercise caution when driving, and to slowdown in the area for their own safety
