
Prince Charles of Wales met Thursday with over 40 Qatari leaders of environmental projects and initiatives including Qatar University President Dr. Sheikha Al Misnad and Qatar National Food Security Program Chairman Fahad bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah The meeting, hosted at the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) by the British embassy in Qatar, discussed several issues such as maritime research, renewable energy, sustainable development and food security. Many community leaders addressed the meeting representing civil society and development groups as well active organizations in the field of environment. Representatives of government initiatives briefed participants on progress made towards environment commitments and Qatar National Vision 2030.
