
Minister of Fisheries Wealth Awadh al-Socatri discussed on Sunday with Acting Eritrean Embassy in Sana'a Mohamed Humad Mohamed the areas of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the fisheries sector. The minister stressed the importance of strengthening and developing the cooperation between the two countries in the field of fish, especially that the two countries share a neighborhood relationship.Al-Socatri underlined the importance of speeding up deciding in the Memorandum of Understanding between Yemen and Eritrea aimed at setting up a mechanism to regulate the activity of traditional fishing between them and to reduce the number of violations that occur in this aspect.For his part, the Eritrean diplomat affirmed the importance of the cooperation relationship between Eritrea and Yemen in the field of fish, calling for promoting the joint work and cooperation between the two countries, especially that they possess a great wealth of fish.
