
Kuwait Awqaf Public Foundation is participating for the first time in Kuala Lumpur's International Book Fair 2014, where its publications have drawn great interest, an official from the foundatoin said Thursday. Observer at the foundation's department of information and documentation Nada Al-Bassam told KUNA that the foundation always strives to engage in such book fairs to spread the various concepts of charity work and activities. The Kuwaiti delegation participating in the event includes editor-in-chief of Awaqf Journal Abdullah Salem and charge d'affairs at Kuwait Embassy Nasser Al-Mutairi. Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair is organized by the Ministry of Education through the National Book Council of Malaysia. It is one of the major events in the global publishing calendar. It provides a networking opportunity to meet with the local and international publishing community.
